Okazaki Sessei  岡崎雪聲 1854-1921
Sessei was a professor at the metal casting department of the Tokyo School of Fine Arts, who studied under his father, a sculptor as well. At the Paris World Exposition of 1889 he won the 2nd prize, exhibited at the Chicago World exposition, he casted the Saigo Takamori statue in Tōkyō Ueno Park, the Karajishi on Nihonbashi bridge, etc.
